The EightySixd Ford 7.3L 88mm Turbo Upgrade Kit transforms your Garrett GTP38 turbo by changing the stock 60/80mm compressor wheel and increases it to a 66/88mm for performance use on 1999.5-2003 Ford E&F Series Super Duty Trucks. The upgraded compressor wheel is not only intended for anti-surge purposes, but also supports huge power gains with the expanded wheel size and aggressive blade design. The EightySixd compressor wheels provide much more airflow than factory 60/80mm cast compressor wheel.  The compressor housing has a 4" ported anti-surge inlet (the stock is only 3") so the kit does include a new 4" to 4" intake hose to fit the size. The thrust bearing in this kit is upgraded from the stock 270° to a 360° thrust bearing. The 360° thrust bearing is necessary for high boost and performance applications, not only because of the full circle lubrication, but also better designed oil feed holes. The stepped gap piston ring also eliminates the oil leaking problem.
